Why this policy exists
Questions about Jesus, Scripture, salvation, suffering, anxiety, forgiveness, and Christian living can affect deeply personal beliefs and decisions.
For that reason, content should not be treated as disposable search-engine material. Each guide should aim to be clear, useful, appropriately cautious, and connected to relevant biblical passages.
This policy establishes the standards the site intends to use. It does not mean that every page is free from mistakes or that every article has received review from clergy, scholars, doctors, attorneys, or other professionals.

How Scripture-centered guides should be written
Standard 02
Identify relevant Scripture
Articles should identify passages that genuinely relate to the question and should avoid using isolated verses merely because they contain similar words.
Standard 03
Explain the context
When relevant, articles should explain who is speaking, who is being addressed, the purpose of the passage, and its place in the wider biblical book.
Standard 04
Label interpretation clearly
Explanations, summaries, theological conclusions, and practical applications should not be presented as though they are direct quotations from God.

Acknowledge meaningful differences
When established Christian traditions interpret a passage or doctrine differently, the article should not pretend that only one interpretation has ever existed.

Internal links should help readers study connected subjects without manipulating them into unnecessary clicks or repeating the same information across many pages.

Question selection
Topics are selected because they represent genuine questions people ask about Jesus, Scripture, salvation, faith, prayer, suffering, relationships, and Christian living.

Scripture research
Relevant passages are gathered and considered in their immediate and wider biblical context before a guide is organized.

Draft preparation
A draft is structured around a direct answer, biblical references, context, interpretation, practical cautions, and related questions.

Editorial review
Content is intended to be checked for clarity, unsupported claims, misleading language, broken links, unnecessary repetition, and inappropriate certainty.

Publication
Published guides receive page metadata, canonical URLs, structured data, internal links, and clear limitations where appropriate.

Maintenance
Articles may be corrected, expanded, reorganized, or removed when problems are discovered or when the site's standards improve.
Bible quotations and references
Scripture must not be invented or misrepresented
Scripture references should be checked carefully. When a Bible passage is quoted directly, the translation should be identified.
Ask Jesus Clearly intends to use quotations from a verified public-domain Bible translation where direct quotations are published. Summaries and paraphrases should be identified as explanation rather than placed inside quotation marks.
Readers should still open the referenced passage and examine the complete context. A short quotation cannot communicate everything contained in the surrounding chapter, book, or biblical canon.
Current implementation note
The site is still being developed. A complete local Bible dataset and automated quotation-verification system have not yet been implemented. Published quotations should therefore continue to be checked carefully during review.
Use of AI
AI assistance does not create spiritual authority
Artificial intelligence may assist with outlining, drafting, organization, editing, coding, and identifying areas that require further checking.
AI-generated material can be incorrect, incomplete, biased, repetitive, or overly confident. It should not be treated as inspired, infallible, prophetic, or authoritative merely because it sounds certain.
Ask Jesus Clearly does not claim that AI responses come from Jesus, represent the direct voice of God, or provide new revelation.

Educational content has important limits
Scripture-centered discussion may be meaningful, but it does not replace qualified medical, mental-health, legal, financial, emergency, or other professional services.
Articles addressing serious personal circumstances should avoid guarantees, diagnoses, panic-driven language, or instructions that could place a reader at greater risk.
Where appropriate, readers should be encouraged to involve trusted adults, pastors, counselors, clinicians, emergency services, or other qualified support.
Prohibited practices
What the site should not publish or claim
- Claiming that the website or its AI is Jesus.
- Presenting generated commentary as the direct voice of God.
- Claiming to provide private revelation, prophecy, or guaranteed divine guidance.
- Inventing Bible quotations, references, historical facts, or source information.
- Using fear, guilt, or spiritual pressure to force engagement, payment, or agreement.
- Promising healing, salvation, financial blessing, or spiritual favor in exchange for money.
- Publishing large numbers of thin, repetitive, or automatically generated pages merely to attract search traffic.
- Presenting medical, mental-health, legal, financial, or emergency guidance as a replacement for qualified care.
Search and publishing standards
Pages should be useful before they are indexed
Search visibility should come from publishing useful, connected, original resources rather than mass-producing thin pages.
A page should have a distinct purpose, a clear main question, relevant passages, meaningful context, working navigation, and accurate metadata before it is intentionally submitted for indexing.
Pages should not be created merely to repeat keywords, imitate competitors, or manufacture the appearance of a larger site.

How errors and concerns should be handled
Review the concern
Reported issues should be examined against the page itself, the cited passages, and any supporting sources used in the article.
Correct material errors
Incorrect references, broken links, misleading summaries, factual mistakes, and unclear statements should be corrected when confirmed.
Clarify substantial revisions
When a significant change alters the meaning or purpose of an article, the page may include an updated date or explanatory note.
Remove content when necessary
A page may be unpublished when it cannot be corrected responsibly, duplicates another guide, or no longer meets the site's standards.
Readers can use the Contact page to report a suspected factual error, incorrect reference, misleading explanation, or broken link.
